A very personalised tour

I was very lucky to have personalised tour and Charlie was great, very informative. I was the only person on the tour, but at 10.00am on a Saturday didn’t surprise me. It would have been nice to take home a small bottle of each of the tastings but I was given a small dram of a bottle of my choice. Very nice whisky for a young distillery. I am sure this will get better with age. Loved every minute of it. I will be back to buy some more before I leave Scotland.

A personalized tour with extensive firsthand information. During the classic tour, Wilma explained the individual steps of the process, from delivery through processing to the finished product, in a very competent and understandable manner. The tasting of five whiskies and a glass as a gift are a perfect conclusion, and the small shop rounds off the tour.

Favorite Scotch and Wonderful Distillery

I’m writing this late, but having just finished my 10-year bottle, I wanted to say this scotch is really amazing. I often revisit Scotland in my mind by the flavors of whisky I sip on. When you sip on Wolfburn, you will think of the wild ocean sunsets of Thurso. You will think of the friendly, kind, and genuine people there, and the salty, fresh cool air that blows across the town. I cannot wait to see how their whiskies age and find out how their 15+ year bottles start tasting. If you find yourself in Scotland, go out of your way if you have to visit this distillery. I have gone to quite a few distilleries on the isle of Skye and the highlands, and Wolfburn was my favorite. My dad is a war historian and loved their Poppies edition bottle remembering the veterans of the First World War too. I’d recommend the 10-year, but I’ve enjoyed all of their editions I have sampled immensely.

The 2025 Anniversary series hits the spot for me!

I have to admit to owning a selection of Wolfburn whisky’s and having visited the distillery on several occasions when holidaying in Thurso.
I finally found a quiet time to really relax and crack open this special bottle to see how I felt about it.
The nose was lovely, sherry and a floral tone that had me anticipating the taste even more.
The taste was all I hoped for, smooth despite the strength and not overpowered by the sherry with the other subtle flavours coming through.
A few minutes after I can still feel the warmth and am enjoying the lingering sweet fruitiness of the finish.

Great surprise

I was really curious to get one of the first 2025 bottles. It tastes really good, you let it melt in your mouth, and you feel the great consistency.

A Statement

This is realy a great First 12 year old.
It got this nearly jucie frutiness.
And a great dephtness to it, but at the same time the wolfburn soul shines in the Whisky.
