Northland-excellent without doubt

Wow! This whisky certainly does not disappoint!The first moment when I opened the bottle was a lightly peated aroma,and when tasted,allowing you to savour the senses on the palate,at the same time enjoying the fruity flavours,very clever!

This is avery impressive young whisky,and in my understanding shows that you are interested

A brilliant tour

As a malt whisky lover, I’ve been on many distillery tours, especially on Islay, which produces my favourites. Being in the north of Scotland I thought I’d check out Wolfburn, a whisky I’ve never heard of.. I have to say this tour was superb. Note to other distilleries: don’t script your tours and forget about the person delivering. Here was an example of a tour being led by a person who was exceptionally natural and knowledgable, whatever questions were put to her, but was also warm, friendly, funny and approachable. Well done, Wilma, you were great!!! And I wasn’t really expecting to particularly like these (mainly unpeated) malts. But these were well-made whiskies. I bought the “Aurora” and “10 year-old”. Thanks for a great experience!!

Great

My only purpose on going to Thurso was because of Wolfburn whisky as it's my absolute favorite. I loved the tour and the Whisky tasting. I bought a Wolfburn tshirt and have worn all over Scotland and England. Every time I wear it someone will comment on how they are from Thurso. The only thing I don't like as that in my home country of New Zealand Wolfburn is very hard to find. That is why I made sure I bought 3 bottles to take home with me. Hopefully that will last me until I can return.

Great

Visited Wolfburn while on the NC500 route. Friendly reception and sound advice from knowledgeable lady. As I tend to like Islay style malts I was advised to try Morven. Really enjoyed. I like it best with a small splash of water!

Nice casual wear.

I’ve been after a soft shell jacket for awhile now. This one fits the bill for walking the dogs and down to the pub,( usually both together). With two zipped hand warmer pockets and two inside patch pockets it carries everything I need. Good embroidery endorsing a great distillery.

Wick Harbour Trust

I don't really like smoke, but this whisky convinced me. The smoke is perfectly integrated and allows the other aromas to come into their own. It is a top whisky.

NC500 gift - Wow!

Treated to a surprise bottle on completion of the NC500 earlier this month. Absolutely delicious - it hits all the right notes for me: subtle sweetness with a deeper and warming complexity. A really wonderful whisky.
