A whisky born of time and tradition

This 10-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky marks a significant milestone in the history of the distillery: it is our first permanent age-statement release. Crafted from spirit fully matured in hand-selected second-fill Oloroso sherry casks, a full decade in Spanish sherry oak has resulted in a delightfully sweet and sumptuous whisky – a fitting testament to the skill, dedication and patience of Wolfburn’s master distillers.

ON THE NOSE
Soft sherry sweetness melds with figs and raisins. There’s a lovely hint of vanilla and oak present too.

ON THE PALATE
The depth of flavour is tremendous. Bold chocolate and dark fruit flavours abound, with overtones of caramel and vanilla, all accompanied by gentle hints of nutmeg and oak smoke.

FINISH
Silky tannins make for a beautifully textured finish; there’s a residual sweetness with dried fruit and caramel flavours lingering to the very end.

Whisky production: Every bottle is monitored from distillation to its final filling and dispatch, ensuring exceptional consistency and quality of taste.

Non-chill filtered and a natural colour: Bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring, preserving the whisky’s true character.

Matured on site: Every cask is matured in Wolfburn’s traditional style dunnage warehouses set by the sea.

Traditional craftsmanship: Whisky made by hand, using age-old methods and modern precision.

Stream flowing through a natural landscape with grass and trees.

Natural Ingredients

Water: Drawn from the Wolf burn, rising from a spring a short distance away, crystal-clear and naturally filtered through Caithness stone.

Malt: Premium, sustainably sourced malt from UK growers. A non-GM and non-GN (Glycosidic Nitrile) variety.

Yeast: Single yeast strain, bottom-fermented to bring out rich, fruity tones.

Fermentation: Long and unhurried – promoting deep, layered flavours before distillation.

Maturation Casks

With a wood policy created to deliver depth of character and balance to every drop, our meticulously sourced casks are filled with either a non-peated or lightly-peated spirit, depending on the season.

1st fill Ex-bourbon barrels from Kentucky

1st and 2nd fill Oloroso sherry butts from Spain

1st fill rum casks sourced from the Caribbean

Custom re-coopered quarter casks from Islay Cooperage in Speyside.

Top Class as good as Morven

Top Class.
This was for my husband who has already tried and enjoyed Morven, rating it as one of the best whiskies he had ever tasted. I gave him the 10 year old to try and contrast and he is now hard put to decide which is better

A class of it‘s own

I first enjoyed it last spring at the Wolfburn distillery. The taste immediately won me over and has stayed with me for a long time. I simply had to order it. Shipping to Germany wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth it for me.

Good but the competition is better

Good but a bit balnd. The competition for a sherried whisky is better. Try Laphroaig (sherried versions) or Hearach Oloroso for a more defined taste.

awesome packaging & Flavours that only A MAGICIAN Could create

Hi I usedh to rink but i don't any more. i just buy now for my collection of which 8 are wolfburn brilliant reading the tastes & look of packaging 10/10 more to come. WOULD LOVEYOU TO MAKE A SINGLE MALT WITH LEMONGRASS, GINGER, LIME, LEMON , TURMERIC, AND SUM CHILLI
