This exceptional dram has been crafted from lightly-peated spirit matured in a combination of first- and second-fill ex-bourbon barrels. The whisky has been traditionally hand-crafted, in a salute to the master craftsmen at Vintage Bentley. The north's leading whisky combined with the south's leading marque specialist. It's a heady combination. 

Tasting notes

ON THE NOSE – Hints of peat smoke lead the way, overlaid with dried fruit and fresh sea air. There's a soft sweet aroma too: demerara sugar and fresh woodshavings. 

ON THE PALATE – Toasted almonds and autumn fruits, augmented by hints of cereal, followed by beautiful light spices – cinnamon and cardamom. Complex malty flavours open up on the palate, leading to dates, raisins, and a soft heather-honey sweetness. 

FINISH – Sweet fig and date flavours are accompanied by the residual tang of peatsmoke to give a wonderful lingering finish.
